Right after the Medical Mission activities, CCOP launched a 3 days Youth Camp exclusively for CCOP youths only with the theme: “Empowering the Youth” from May 28-31, 2012 held at Iishai, Suarez, Iligan City. The purpose of which is to enable them to be physically, psychologically and spiritually prepared for the next school year opening thru series of spiritual lectures, workshops and services, physical activities and law abiding citizen awareness symposium. Only around 40 youths were able to attend the camp, around 20 youths missed the activitydue to financial constraint and conflicts of their work schedules.
The youth camp activities were also become easy and orderly with the help of 4th Mechanized Infantry Battalion by providing transportation, services and security personnel during the whole 3 days youth camp activities.
The sequence of 3 days youth camp activities are as follows:
Transporting the campers and the necessary items to the camp site by means of two military trucks; Registration of campers and; Briefing and Orientation for the campers rule.
Early morning devotion; Lecture on the subject “Sacrifice of Praise” by Sister Alona Saniel; Lecture on the subject “Act of Terrorism Awareness” by MAJ Francisco Perdigon at Camp Pintoy; Obstacle Games at Camp Pintoy ground;
Early morning devotion; Jogging and physical exercises at Camp Pintoy ground; Lecture on the subject “Love One Another” by Ptr Rey Mantilla; Parlor/Bible and Ball games at Camp Pintoy ground; Awarding and Revival Night service.
Pack-up for homebound departure, transported by 4th Mechanized Infantry Battalion military trucks.
