City Church Of Praise was conducting a 3rd Graduation Ceremony for its members who completed our Christian Growth Class and was held at CCOP fellowship center on November 1, 2015. Christian Growth Class is part of the CCOP’s Life Development Process, a process required to all CCOP congregation for nurturing their spiritual lives and preparing themselves for the ministry. Christian Growth Class consists of module classes such as Class 101 – Finding Your Membership, Class 201 – Faith Foundation, Class 301 – Finding Your Ministry, Class 401 – Bible-Inspired Leadership Training. The program was open with the marching entrance of the graduates, followed by Opening Prayer and Remarks by Bro. Jemar Orpeza, one of the teachers in Christian Growth Class.
The program includes giving honor and glory to our LORD GOD JESUS CHRIST through singing praise and worship songs. Recitation of the CCOP’s Mission and Vision statement by the graduates in unison led by Richelle Jane Baguasan and Glenn Jasper Libre respectively. CCOP’s Mission and Vision statements have been recited as opening in every official business meetings of BOT, CCOP Council, Cell Group Ministry, etc.. The graduates also rendered and sung their motivational cebuano Graduation Song on stage entitled “Tungod sa Dihog Mo”. The ceremony would not be complete without the inspiring Word of God shared by for the graduates and to all who witnessed the ceremony that was shared by Pastor Plass Quiling, Host Pastor and Chairman of Discipleship Ministry. Pastor Plass stressed out the message in lined with our theme “Equipping the saints for greater ministry”, a passage taken from Ephesians 4:12.
One of the highlights of the activity was the distribution of certificates to our diligent graduates, distributed by Bishop Geoffrey Saniel Sr and Pastor Plass Quiling with Ptra Alona Saniel. The graduates individually march on the stage to receive each certificate with inexpressible joy in their faces. Bro. Judy Dagol, one of the graduates delivered his short graduation speech to give some inspirational message to his fellow graduates.
The ceremony was ended with prayer of thanksgiving, consecration, anointing and blessing for the graduates led by Pastor Plass Quiling. Finally, Pastor Renato “Bong” Ramos, also one of the teachers of Christian Growth Class, made the closing prayer and benediction. SHALOM!
